Innerpeffray Library is well worth a visit. This is the oldest free public lending library in Scotland and was already well established when Crieff Tryst was in its heyday. WILD ROVERS EXHIBITIONThe National Galleries of Scotland Outreach Team and Perth and Kinross Council will re-present the Wild Rovers: Parallel Lives in Crieff exhibition in Strathearn Community Campus and Library.This exhibition includes a video of the community Stampede, photographs, flags, masks and banners created by local residents and High School students, that use motifs from Crieff’s droving past to point to a new future for the town represented by the new Campus.
Added to the exhibition will be a set of landscape paintings and drawings created by students in the hills north of Crieff. This workshop will be part of the High School’s recreated ‘drove‘ from Skye to Crieff in June 2010. Crieff Library – Strathearn Campus,Pittenzie Road . During library opening hours.
