This magnificent walk through five glens takes in a drover’s trail, Rob Roy’s Way and a disused railway. It goes through beautiful wild country and enjoys ever changing views of Ben Lawers, Loch Tay, Ben Vorlich and Loch Earn. From Lochearnhead the route climbs from the northern end of the Glen of Strathyre up to Glen Kendrum before heading north west over the bealach below Creag Mac Ranaich and down Glen Dubh into Glen Dochart. The route then swings north east before looping back south east along the old Glen Ogle railway line with its spectacular viaducts before finishing back in Lochearnhead with a chance of a well deserved cup of tea.

CRIEFF TO COMRIE VIA LOCH TURRET AND THE HIGH ROAD
Monday October 10th - Hard This is a very fine and little known linear walk which commands spectacular views of the Strathearn valley and surrounding mountains. It follows what was most almost certainly one of the droving routes into Crieff , and there is plenty of evidence of ancient settlements. The route then descends into the lovely Glen Lednock via Balmuick and on into Comrie

GLEN ARTNEY, UAMH BEAG AND ROB ROY'S CAVE
Monday October 10th - Hard This lovely circular walk is at the head of Glen Artney. “Lone Glen Artney’s hazel shade” figures in Sir Walter Scott’s Lady of the Lake. Although not particularly high, Uamh Bheag commands fine views north towards Ben Vorlich, south towards the Ochil Hills, and west over Callander to the Trossachs and the Carse of Stirling. From the Glen Artney road the route heads south west by Auchnashelloch, branching south and climbing up to the broad ridge of Meall Clachach and on to the cairn of Uamh Bheag. Few know about the interesting geological feature known as Rob Roy’s cave or fank on the shoulder of Uamh Mhor where he is reputed to have hidden cattle. The route descends over rough country back to the car park.
