From the car park the route returns to Craggish before entering the impressive Aberuchill estate. Above Aberuchill Castle the track climbs and contours around the southern shoulder of Ben Halton on an old quarry road before descending via Dalclathick to Glen Artney, immortalised in Sir Walter Scott’s ‘The Lady of the Lake’.
