An Opportunity to hear about ‘Outstanding Walks Scotland’

Local author Felicity Martin invites you to a talk about her latest book, Outstanding Walks Scotland, from Ordnance Survey. This colourfully illustrated volume is a treasure trove of walks and days out, with a carefully curated selection of 60 walks across Scotland, from the Mull of Galloway to Sumburgh Head, and Kilmartin Glen to Kinnoull Hill. Be inspired to try new walks and explore places that you have yet to visit.

This talk is a chance to savour beautiful images and to hear about how Felicity plans and carries out research for guidebooks. She will share some stories behind memorable walks, including her best and worst experiences. There will be time for questions and audience input.

About the author

Felicity moved to Perthshire in 1986 to work for an insurance company, but escaped office life to become a freelance writer and photographer over 25 years ago. She has written more than 15 walks guidebooks and contributed to many more. Other work includes magazine features about outdoor activities, nature and campervan travel.
