Walking in the hills and related outdoor activities bring groups close to nature and the vagaries of weather and climate. Additionally, the Drovers’ Tryst may have to accommodate the constraints and effects of the Covid pandemic.
While the Drovers’ Tryst will take every measure practically possible to ensure that walks take place on the day and times agreed there may have to be late changes to walks to allow for adverse weather conditions. Hopefully this will be very unlikely in May but it will be the exclusive decision of the walk leader on the day if a walk is to be changed. If this is the case an alternative walk will be offered begining from the same start point. This decision will be communicated to all walk participants by text message.
If the walk programme has to be cancelled due to heightened Covid restrictions, which result in groups not being able to meet up, all walk participants will be informed by email and/or text message. In this case a full refund will be given.
