Strathearn is a prominent feature on the food and drink map of Scotland. This area is a prime location for quality local produce, with specialist food shops and several award winning restaurants in Crieff and Strathearn.
Often called ‘Scotland’s Larder’, this part of the country is famed for providing excellent local produce. Sheep, cattle and deer feed on the lush pasture land; the woodlands are alive with feathered and furred game; the rivers and lochs are teeming with fish, and in summer, Perthshire is also the berry capital of Scotland.
